3. Looking back on when you started, what was one of your biggest fears or hesitations that you got over?
When I first started, my biggest mental block was taking what I learned in the gym and actually taking it and doing it outside.
4. What’s your ultimate goal for your training? Any big future plans?
My future plans for my training and my parkour career is to be training with my team and get us known.
5. Got a tip or two for people who want to get started seriously training?
My advice to anyone trying to get started is don’t be afraid to ask questions about a trick or vault, give 100% towards everything, and don’t hold back.

1. Why did you start freerunning? What was the initial spark?
I started freerunning because I saw the TV show Jump City Seattle and found out that Team Tempest was in LA. I saw the gym video and went to the grand opening. I started taking classes and loved it. Ever since then I have been inspired to keep pushing my limits.
2. What’s one of your proudest moments so far?
One of my proudest moments was when I landed my first front flip, outside on the grass.
3. Looking back on when you started, what was one of your biggest fears or hesitations that you got over?
One of my worst mental blocks that I have overcome is doing building gaps.
4. What’s your ultimate goal for your training? Any big future plans?
My goal is to become a professional freerunner and stuntman.
5. Got a tip or two for people who want to get started seriously training?
My advice to anyone that wants to be a freerunner is to be confident and know your limits. You must be committed to anything you’re doing. Also, don’t do anything that is way beyond your limits. Push your limits only a little everytime you train.

1. Why did you start freerunning? What was the initial spark?
I first heard about freerunning after the movie Casino Royale was released. However during that time I thought to myself “I could never do that.” Then a couple years later, I started watching Jump City and quickly became a fan of Team Tempest. After subscribing to them on Facebook, I begged my mom to take me to The Academy to start classes. Since then, I have dedicated much of my time to freerunning.
2. What’s one of your proudest moments so far?
My proudest moment was preforming with my teammates as well as members from Tempest at my high school. I was so happy to be a part of an inspirational assembly that reached thousands of kids, and to know that I had helped make it possible.
3. Looking back on when you started, what was one of your biggest fears or hesitations that you got over?
My worst mental block is trying tricks on flat ground. I prefer ledges or step-ups. I will rarely go for a “standing back tuck” or “punch front” on flat ground, I always do them off elevated platforms.
4. What’s your ultimate goal for your training? Any big future plans?
Freerunning will always be a part of my life and hopefully one day I will get involved in stunt choreography. However, my main goal is to help give freerunning an even greater voice through the use of cinematic arts. I want to capture the movement as creatively and artistically as possible so that others can see it as I do.
5. Got a tip or two for people who want to get started seriously training?
My advice to anyone taking up this form of art is to dedicate a lot of time and effort. Nothing comes overnight, so keep calm and do not let anything frustrate you. Push yourself hard, however, stay safe and make sure you don’t try anything you aren’t quite ready for.
